"Service is competitiveness."
Honda Korea (CEO Lee Ji-hong) announced on the 24th that it held the 16th Honda CS Contest, an automobile service competency contest, at the Honda Education Center in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, on the 22nd. The Honda Education Center is the largest Honda safe driving education institution in the country and will officially open as an automobile and motorcycle service training center in March.
The Honda CS Contest is a competition held since 2005 to enhance overall customer service competency. This year, winners from five institutional sectors—general maintenance, bodywork, painting, service advisors, and parts—were selected through written and practical tests. About 120 participants, including representatives from official Honda automobile dealers across the country and Honda Korea employees, attended the event, competing with remarkable skills in an enthusiastic atmosphere.
Awards for each institutional sector were presented separately for individual and dealer overall champions. The winners and runners-up in the general maintenance sector, as well as the winners in the service advisor sector, will represent Korea at the Honda Asia Oceania Global CS Contest scheduled for this year.
The individual award winners for each institutional sector were technician Ahn Dong-bin from Honda Cars KCC in the general maintenance sector, technician Kim Dong-hoon from Honda Cars KCC in the bodywork sector, technician Kim Jae-hee from Honda Cars Vision in the painting sector, advisor Kim Kyung-tae from Honda Cars KCC in the service advisor sector, and parts manager Hong Seok-jin from Honda Cars Vision in the parts sector, each winning the honor. Honda Cars KCC achieved overall victory by winning in three institutional sectors: general maintenance, bodywork, and service advisor.
CEO Lee Ji-hong of Honda Korea noted, "We will strive to provide the best service and satisfaction to Honda automobile customers through continuous service skill development."
