LIG Nex1 announced on the 19th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Tawazun, the defense procurement agency of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to strengthen the quality control of military supplies.

LIG Nex1 announced that it signed a strategic partnership MOU with Tawazun's quality inspection agency, Tawazun Quality and Conformity (TQC), to enhance quality control and certification capabilities for military supplies at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference 2025 (IDEX) held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on the 18th (local time). Lee Hyun-soo, head of overseas business at LIG Nex1, and Khalid Mohamed Al Kaabi, CEO of TQC, attended the MOU signing ceremony.

Tawazun is responsible for the procurement of defense materials, and its TQC corresponds to the National Defense Quality Assurance Agency.

LIG Nex1 said, "We will enhance mutual trust through the establishment of a strengthened cooperative relationship with the UAE."
