The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 19th that it will recruit small businesses to participate in the '2025 Strong Small Business Growth Support Project.' The application period is from the 4th to the 13th of next month.
The Strong Small Business Growth Support Project is a program designed to help small businesses grow into entrepreneurial small businesses by collaborating with partner corporations, creators, startups, and small businesses in different industries.
This project will recruit participants in two categories: online seller type and global type.
The online seller type is expected to select 250 companies and will provide training using the online sales infrastructure owned by Naver and Kakao. Trainees will learn in basic, advanced, and practical stages about ▲ AI tool practice ▲ marketing solution strategies ▲ selling techniques. Outstanding trainees will receive up to 50 million won in commercialization funding and practical training.
The global type will select 70 teams and conduct a first audition, from which 35 teams will receive support of up to 60 million won for business model enhancement funds. The top 10 teams selected for the final audition, held for companies that passed the first audition, will also receive up to 40 million won in additional commercialization funding.
In addition, the Gangwon Creative Innovation Center, which is the supervising organization for the online seller type, and CNT Tech Co., Ltd., which is the supervising organization for the global type, plan to provide various specialized programs such as nurturing space, capability diagnosis, and pop-up stores to the participating corporations.
Lee Dae-geon, head of the Small Business Policy Division, noted, "Recently, the popularity of small brands created by small businesses in various fields, including beauty, food, and fashion, is increasing," and said, "We will actively support entrepreneurial small businesses to grow into global brands."
