Kia revealed some of the appearance of the small sports utility vehicle (SUV) EV2 concept car (a pre-production car that contains development direction).
Kia unveiled teaser images and videos of the 'The Kia Concept EV2' (Concept EV2), 'The Kia EV4' (EV4), and 'The Kia PV5' (PV5) on the 13th.
The EV2 is expected to be an affordable electric vehicle aimed at the European market, smaller and cheaper than the compact SUV EV3. The front design of the concept EV2 revealed that day features separated star map signature lighting, complemented by a robust body.
A Kia representative noted, 'The concept EV2 is a versatile compact SUV with an innovative and adventurous style, suitable for both urban life and outdoor life.'
Following the EV6, EV9, and EV3, the EV4 is Kia's fourth dedicated electric vehicle, capturing the direction for the next-generation electric sedan through its side silhouette, according to Kia.
In the case of the PV5, it is the first model to apply Kia's purpose-built vehicle (PBV) dedicated platform, which was first unveiled as a concept car at CES, the world's largest IT and consumer electronics show, last year.
Kia plans to hold '2025 Kia EV Day' in Tarragona, Spain, at the end of this month, showcasing two new cars (EV4, PV5) and one concept car (EV2 concept).
