Mercedes-Benz Korea will launch the high-performance two-door convertible model "Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC Plus Cabriolet," it noted on the 12th.
Equipped with an improved 3.0L inline six-cylinder engine, this model produces a maximum output of 449 horsepower and maximum torque of 57.1 kgf·m. Additionally, it has gained up to 17 kilowatts of power during startup through a second-generation integrated starter-generator. This engine offers benefits such as a reduction in congestion tolls and public parking fees due to its certification as a low-emission vehicle.
It also features AMG-specific driving functions, including a variable all-wheel-drive AMG Performance 4MATIC Plus that provides dynamic yet stable driving experience. Although it has a soft top, the multilayer construction offers high insulation, and the wind deflector located above the front windshield and behind the headrests reduces the inflow of outside wind, enhancing driving comfort, according to Mercedes-Benz Korea.
The front of the vehicle incorporates design elements unique to the CLE Cabriolet, such as an AMG radiator grille and large air intakes with an A-shaped design. The vehicle is also equipped with a 12.3-inch standalone full digital driver display and an 11.9-inch vertical LCD central display.
The CLE 53 4MATIC Plus Cabriolet will be offered in limited editions, such as the "Great White Edition," which is limited to 17 units, and the "Dark Knight Package," which adds paid options.
The domestic price of the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC Plus Cabriolet is 110.3 million won (including value-added tax and reflecting the reduction in the special consumption tax).
