Cheil Worldwide announced on the 11th that its North American subsidiary, McKinney, has launched an advertisement for the famous American pizza brand "Little Caesars" during the National Football League (NFL) championship game, the Super Bowl.

Little Caesars is the third largest pizza chain brand in the United States and has been in a marketing partnership with McKinney since 2019 as the official pizza sponsor of the NFL.

The advertisement aired during the first quarter of the 59th Super Bowl held on the morning of the 10th Korea time and was designed to increase awareness of Little Caesars' popular menu item, "Crazy Puffs."

This 30-second advertisement begins with the scene of famous actor and comedian Eugene Levy walking out of a Little Caesars store. After taking a bite of a Crazy Puff, Eugene Levy exclaims the title of the advertisement, "Whoa!" His trademark thick eyebrows then raise, humorously causing them to fly around like a winged insect, surprising people.

Little Caesars' Super Bowl advertisement received a good response from consumers with such humorous elements and achieved the 6th place in the Super Bowl advertisement rankings announced by iSpot, a TV advertising effectiveness research company.

Industry insiders estimate that the average cost of Super Bowl advertisements this year is around $7 million (approximately 1.12 billion won) for 30 seconds, similar to last year. It is reported that many advertisements were sold at a record price of $8 million (approximately 1.16 billion won) per 30 seconds. FOX, which holds the broadcasting rights for this year's Super Bowl, stated last November that all advertising inventory was sold out.

McKinney participated in Super Bowl advertisements for two consecutive years, following last year's first Super Bowl advertisement for Popeyes, with this year being for Little Caesars. It continues to expand its advertising clients across various industries, including food and beverage brands, biotech, finance, and retail in the North American region, contributing to Cheil Worldwide achieving double-digit growth in the North American market last year.

A representative from Cheil Worldwide said, "This year, we plan to provide customized solutions based on the market and consumer expertise accumulated in North America to drive our clients' business growth."
