LS ELECTRIC announced on the 4th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for global business collaboration with Tetra Tech at the LS Yongsan Tower in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on the 3rd.
Tetra Tech is a global consulting and engineering services corporation that solves various challenges in fields such as water, environment, and renewable energy, employing over 30,000 staff worldwide to manage more than 100,000 projects annually across more than 100 countries.
At the event that day, Kim Jong-woo, president of LS ELECTRIC, and David George, president of Tetra Tech, were present to discuss business collaboration strategies and future initiatives in response to changes in the global energy market.
LS ELECTRIC agreed to strengthen business collaboration with Tetra Tech in areas such as U.S.-focused global power solutions, AI data centers, and renewable energy, as well as to jointly cooperate for entry into new markets.
The two companies plan to leverage their networks and recognition in the power and energy sectors secured in the U.S. and worldwide to proactively propose market-customized solutions and services to expand their business.
Kim noted, "As a sharp increase in global power demand is anticipated, LS ELECTRIC is growing based on delivery competitiveness through solid production infrastructure and efficient inventory management," adding, "Through this agreement, we plan to leverage the strengths of both companies to maintain leadership in the global power market."
