Cheil Worldwide announced on the 4th that its operating profit for 2024 is provisionally estimated to be 320.7 billion won, a 4.2% increase compared to the previous year.
Revenue increased by 4.9% to 4.34 trillion won. The gross profit, excluding the cost of sales from revenue, grew by 7% to 1.73 trillion won.
The business distribution by service is 54% digital, 30% below-the-line advertising (BTL), and 16% above-the-line advertising (ATL). BTL performance, primarily focused on overseas projects like the Olympics, increased by 19% compared to the previous year.
Cheil Worldwide aims for an annual growth of over 5% in gross profit and improved revenue this year. It plans to strengthen its core businesses in digital platforms, retail, and data-centered operations, while expanding its business areas. The company will also focus on enhancing expertise in sectors such as automotive, healthcare, travel, and food and beverage, as well as developing large advertisers.
