Doosan announced on the 26th that it will participate in the DesignCon 2025, the largest telecommunications and systems design exhibition in the United States, to be held in Santa Clara, California, from the 29th to the 30th (local time).
This year's DesignCon, marking its 30th anniversary, will feature more than 160 corporations related to copper-clad laminate (CCL), printed circuit boards (PCBs), and communication equipment showcasing cutting-edge technologies and products.
Doosan plans to focus on introducing CCL for artificial intelligence (AI) accelerators and high-speed communication network CCL applicable to data centers (routers, switches, servers), highlighting its superior technology and research and development capabilities. AI accelerators are advanced system semiconductors specialized to enhance AI performance, helping to process essential computations accurately and quickly, such as data learning and inference required for machine learning and deep learning.
CCL consists of an insulating layer formed by the combination of copper foil, resin, and reinforcing materials, serving as the core material used in PCBs. Doosan's CCL for AI accelerators features low dielectric and low loss characteristics, enabling the fast supply of large amounts of data even in the high-frequency range. Doosan provides customized solutions based on high-performance CCL utilizing precise resin formulations and advanced manufacturing technologies.
In particular, the '800GbE high-speed communication network CCL' that Doosan is showcasing this time is designed to meet next-generation network communication standards, boasting rapid data processing speeds and minimized communication latency.
In addition, Doosan will exhibit microelectromechanical system oscillators (MEMS Oscillators), which are key components that generate internal signal frequencies for electronic devices and communication systems, applying precision machining technology from semiconductor manufacturing processes.
