Kia announced during a conference call for its 2024 fourth quarter earnings on the 24th, "We will introduce 10 models, including hybrid cars, by the first quarter of next year," adding, "I think the effect of new cars will be the greatest next year once all these models are released."
Kia noted, "The Shiros is a model that we expect to sell about 80,000 units annually, but this year we anticipate about 55,000 units. The Tasman is a model expected to sell 60,000 units, and we expect about 40,000 units to be sold this year," adding, "The EV3 was launched last year, but as sales expand globally this year, we expect to sell about 70,000 units more than last year."
Kia further stated, "We expect the EV4 to sell 150,000 units annually, but this year we forecast 30,000 to 40,000 units, and the EV5 is expected to sell 100,000 units annually but will see around 20,000 to 30,000 units sold this year." They added, "The PV5 will be released in the second half of this year, with sales expected to be at a low level of 10,000 to 20,000 units." They continued, "The Telluride will launch this December, and hybrid models will be introduced early next year. The Seltos will also be launched domestically in January, and the EV2 will be released sequentially."
