SK Innovation announced on the 23rd that it has provided a collaboration fund of 4.06 billion won to its partner companies ahead of the Lunar New Year.
On the 22nd, SK Innovation held the '2025 SK Innovation collaboration fund delivery ceremony' at the SK Innovation Ulsan Complex (Ulsan CLX). SK Innovation team members donated 33.7 million won from the 1% Happiness Sharing Fund, which is made up of 1% of their basic salaries, to 73 partner companies. This fund will be distributed to about 5,400 partner company members in the form of Onnuri gift certificates before the Lunar New Year.
Additionally, 609 million won will be provided from the joint welfare fund to be used for the welfare of approximately 1,100 members from 21 partner companies participating in the fund, including accident insurance.
Since 2018, SK Innovation and labor have invested a total of 26 billion won to enhance the welfare of a cumulative 48,000 partner company members through the 1% Happiness Sharing Fund.
Kim Jong-hwa, CEO of SK Energy, said, "SK Innovation will take the lead in creating a healthy industrial ecosystem where large and small enterprises grow together."
Park Yul-hee, chairman of the SK Innovation labor union, said, "I am glad to have operated the 1% collaboration fund, proposed and voluntarily established by the members, without a gap for eight years," and added, "We will continue to strive for collaboration with our partners and the enhancement of member welfare."
