Jeju Air has decided to reduce a total of 1,878 flights on international and domestic routes until the end of March during the winter schedule period. Jeju Air stated that it would cut back on flights to enhance safety and punctuality after a passenger plane accident occurred at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province.
On the 8th, Jeju Air announced it would reduce a total of 1,878 flights, including 838 domestic flights and 104 international flights, until March 29. Specifically, on the Japan routes, it will reduce 344 flights on routes such as Incheon–Narita, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Busan–Narita, while 326 flights will be cut on Southeast Asian routes like Incheon–Da Nang, Bangkok, and Bohol.
In addition, it will reduce 136 flights on Oceania routes such as Incheon–Guam and Busan–Saipan, and 234 flights on Greater China routes such as Incheon and Jeju–Hong Kong and Busan–Kaohsiung.
The reductions for international flights are as follows: 390 flights from Incheon, 342 from Busan, 278 from Muan, and 30 from Jeju. For domestic flights, it will cut 838 flights on four routes, including Gimpo, Busan, Cheongju, and Muan to Jeju.
Jeju Air said, "We will make efforts to minimize passenger inconvenience through schedule changes or refunds for flights that have been canceled." For more details, passengers can check the announcements on the Jeju Air website.
