Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) announced on the 8th that it will send a delegation to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, the world's largest IT and electronics exhibition, taking place in Las Vegas, United States, from the 7th to the 10th (local time). The plan is to explore technology and discover new businesses to advance future projects.
The delegation includes key executives such as President Kang Gu-young, Director of Future Convergence Technology Kim Ji-hong, Head of Strategy Choi Jong-won, and Director of AI/EW Research Center Choi Nak-sun. KAI has selected four key themes for this exhibition: AI, future mobility, sustainability, and quantum computing. It aims to explore technologies that can promote the establishment of next-generation combat systems and innovate the aerospace industry ecosystem. In particular, it plans to reaffirm the importance of AI technology, a core aspect of next-generation aerial combat systems, and to discuss global technology trends and collaboration opportunities.
President Kang Gu-young noted, "CES is a fair that brings together technologies from around the world and symbolizes the trend of technological innovation. Securing AI-based future core technologies is essential for establishing next-generation aerial combat systems." He added, "We will explore various AI solutions at CES 2025 to enhance the automation and efficiency of weapon systems and seek opportunities for collaboration."
