Genesis will start selling the G80 Black model, a large sedan, from the 8th. The G80 Black is the fourth black model from Genesis, following the G90 Black, GV80 Black, and GV80 Coupe Black, and it is characterized by an emphasis on luxurious design.
According to Genesis, the G80 Black features a fully blacked-out exterior, including the front bumper, radiator grille, and Genesis emblem. Additionally, it is equipped with 20-inch wheels in a glossy black color and floating wheel caps, and there is a dark gray emblem placed in the center of the trunk.
The interior is also black. The air conditioning buttons, console decorations, steering wheel, paddle shifters, and speakers are all designed in black. Furthermore, it is finished with seats exclusive to the G80 Black, and various animations and images displayed on the integrated 27-inch wide display embody the luxury unique to the G80 Black, according to Genesis.
Genesis also started selling the model year change of the G80, the '2025 G80,' on the same day. For the 2025 G80, Genesis has included a head-up display, which is highly preferred by customers, as standard, and customers can choose from two color combinations for the interior. Additionally, remote starting is available, and a feature that deploys the side mirrors when the driver approaches is also included.
Customers who purchase the G80 can receive tax benefits such as the special consumption tax, education tax, and value-added tax if the car is delivered by June of this year, as the government is temporarily reducing the special consumption tax from the existing 5% to 3.5% in the first half of 2025.
