Hanwha Group announced that its defense subsidiaries, Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha Systems, and Hanwha Ocean, visited the National Seoul Memorial Cemetery on Jan. 2, the first day of work in the new year, to pay their respects to the fallen heroes and patriotic spirits.

Around 150 employees, including Son Jae-il, the representative of Hanwha Aerospace and Hanwha Systems, and Eo Seong-cheol, president of Hanwha Ocean's special ship division, attended the New Year’s visit held at the National Seoul Memorial Cemetery in Dongjak District, Seoul.

After the visit, Son wrote in the guestbook, "In welcoming the new year of the Eulsa year, I deeply engrave the noble will of the fallen heroes and patriotic spirits in my heart."

Hanwha noted that its defense subsidiaries have been starting the new year’s work since 2011 with the spirit of dedication to the country, honoring the fallen heroes and patriotic spirits on the first day of the year.
