Kim Seung-yeon, chairman of Hanwha Group, ordered on the 2nd to strengthen execution capabilities to achieve world-class competitiveness.
During the New Year's greeting meeting on Jan. 2, 2025, the chairman noted, "Some businesses are still not on the targeted track, and during such times, we must move forward with swift execution and continuous innovation while maintaining confidence in success." He added, "There is a significant difference between knowing the path and walking that path. It is now time to actually walk the known path."
The chairman highlighted that as the group's major businesses in defense, marine, finance, and machinery expand into the global market, they must not only participate but also secure the highest level of competitiveness demanded by customers in various countries. He also emphasized the establishment of an ethical consciousness and a compliance culture that meets global standards.
Referring to the upcoming fourth launch of the Nuri rocket, which will be conducted for the first time under civilian leadership this year, the chairman remarked, "It is now time to prove ourselves through execution, not talk, and by delivering results, not just preparation."
