The Ministry of SMEs and Startups plans to operate the "K-Startup Integrated Hall" at the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition, 'CES 2025', held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 7 to 10 (local time), it announced on the 30th.

The scale of CES 2025 has expanded compared to the previous year, with over 4,500 corporations from more than 160 countries expected to participate, and approximately 140,000 attendees anticipated. About 800 corporations, including major conglomerates and startups, will showcase innovative technologies to the world.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will set up the largest-ever "K-Startup Integrated Hall" at Eureka Park, the startup-exclusive exhibition area of CES. It will support the operation of exhibition booths for a total of 127 startups in collaboration with 30 supporting organizations, including public institutions, local governments, universities, and conglomerates.

This year's participation scale significantly exceeds last year's, which included 26 organizations and 91 startups. Notably, POSCO's investment and nurturing venture hall will join this year, sharing its experience in participating in CES and operating support programs for participating corporations.

Minister Oh Youngju noted, "CES 2025 is a great opportunity for our corporations to grasp innovative technology trends and enhance their recognition in the global market," adding, "The Ministry will actively support the promotion of the 'K-Startup' brand worldwide through CES, enabling our innovative corporations to showcase their outstanding technological capabilities and find new business opportunities."

Meanwhile, among the 363 CES Innovation Awards announced so far, 162 have been awarded to Korean corporations. Small businesses have won a total of 124 innovation awards, accounting for approximately 76.5%, of which venture and startup companies have received 119 awards. Of the participating corporations in the 'K-Startup Integrated Hall', 10 have received innovation awards so far.
