This year, a global team of 3,500 influencers with 3 billion subscribers worldwide will gather in Seoul for the '2024 SeoulCon.'
The Seoul Business Agency (SBA) announced on the 23rd that it will hold the 2024 SeoulCon for five days and four nights from Dec. 28 to Jan. 1 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Following last year, the SeoulCon returns for its second edition this year, a convention led by global influencers that showcases Seoul's lifestyle worldwide, including K-pop, K-beauty, and K-fashion. This year, the SeoulCon will feature 3,500 teams of influencers from over 50 countries with a total of 3 billion subscribers, sharing their experiences from the event and promoting the charm of Seoul.
This year's SeoulCon will feature a total of 25 diverse programs across fashion and beauty, gaming, and performances.
In particular, a program will be held in which famous influencers introduce outstanding small and medium enterprises (SME) products from Seoul and support their market access. The 'Global Influencer x Corporations Live Commerce' is a prime example. This live commerce event will be conducted by influencers at DDP and the DDP Fashion Mall's Seoul V-Commerce Studio, focusing on the products of high Seoul corporations and products recognized by the Seoul Awards. The matching will be made by selecting corporations that have products they want to sell, chosen by commerce-focused influencers.
Collaboration with Musinsa, the largest fashion platform in the country, includes 'Platform by Musinsa,' 'Runway to Seoul,' and 'K-Beauty Boost,' a fusion runway combining K-fashion, beauty, and entertainment, providing a rich variety of experiences showcasing Seoul's lifestyle across various fields including fashion, beauty, gaming, and K-pop.
On the last day of the year, the 31st, the SeoulCon World K-Pop Festival & Countdown performance will take place, concluding the event. The performance by top K-pop artists will stretch from the evening through to the New Year, creating a special moment. The countdown at SeoulCon will run from 6 p.m. on the 31st until 2 a.m. on Jan. 1, featuring performances and countdown activities.
