Doosan Bobcat delivered its first hydrogen forklift for private use to Namdong Nonghyup in Incheon on the 19th. Namdong Nonghyup will operate the first private hydrogen forklift at the Namdong Nonghyup convergence center, which is equipped with a hydrogen and electric charging station. This marks Doosan Bobcat's achievement of first commercializing hydrogen forklifts in the country and successfully selling them to the private sector. Hyundai Motor Group subsidiary Unitus operates three hydrogen forklifts using a charging station at its Chungju plant.

Under current law, hydrogen forklifts cannot be charged at regular hydrogen charging stations. Doosan Bobcat stated that it has opened the path for private supply through collaboration with corporations that have charging stations on-site and government agencies.

Kim Sang-cheol, senior vice president of Doosan Bobcat Korea ALAO (Asia, Latin America, and Oceania) sales, noted, "We will use this collaboration, which began with participation in the regulatory exception consortium, as a stepping stone to expand the distribution of hydrogen forklifts for public and private use."
