Hyundai Motor and Kia sold 79,744 units in November, a 10.5% decrease compared to the same period last year in the European market.

According to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) on the 19th, Hyundai sold 39,592 units and Kia sold 40,152 units in Europe last month. Hyundai Motor and Kia's sales decreased by 12.5% and 8.4%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

In the European market last month, Hyundai and Kia's market share both recorded 3.8%. Compared to last year, Hyundai's share decreased by 0.4 percentage points (P), and Kia's decreased by 0.3 P.

The main selling models of Hyundai are Tucson (11,267 units), Kona (5,848 units), and i10 (4,988 units). Kia sold Sportage (13,013 units), Ceed (8,093 units), and Morning (5,549 units) in that order.

Among eco-friendly vehicles including hybrid cars (HEV), plug-in hybrid cars (PHEV), and electric vehicles (EV), Hyundai's Tucson (6,456 units), Kona (4,643 units), Kia's Niro (4,137 units), and EV3 (2,522 units) sold well.

From the beginning of this year to last month, Hyundai Motor Group's cumulative sales in the European market totaled 984,541 units, a 4.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. The combined market share of Hyundai and Kia decreased by 0.4 P to 8.3%.
