MinTech's real-time battery safety diagnosis solution inspects the state of electric vehicle batteries at various time intervals and provides users with information on charging status, capacity life, output life, balanced status, anomaly detection, and future life predictions through AI-based self-algorithm analysis. The company plans to provide battery certification issuance services in the future.

The company developed this solution after signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with GS Energy regarding electric vehicle battery business in 2021 and has been conducting pilot services with GS M-Viz since November 2022. The company noted, “We have been collecting actual electric vehicle operation data of more than 30 million kilometers and improving the accuracy of diagnosis results.”

Hong Young-jin, CEO of MinTech, said, “Battery usage and diagnosis information will be key information for the digital battery passport system, which is set to be mandated by the European Union (EU),” adding, “In connection with this, we will accelerate our entry into global markets, including Europe.”
