The Korea Enterprises Federation (KEF) stated on the 14th that efforts from the government, National Assembly, and labor sector are necessary for stabilizing the political situation following the passage of the impeachment bill against President Yoon Suk-yeol.

KEF expressed through materials distributed that “the business community hopes for a swift stabilization of the chaotic political situation,” adding, “corporations will do their utmost to fulfill their role for economic stability.”

KEF said, “To minimize the national confusion caused by the impeachment crisis, the government must strengthen its emergency economic response framework,” and emphasized that “the National Assembly should demonstrate bipartisan leadership for a wise and prompt resolution of the situation.”

It added, “The labor sector is also hoped to unite as a responsible economic entity in our society to contribute to social stability and overcoming the economic crisis.”
