This week, a large number of preliminary KOSDAQ listings will open to retail subscriptions. Starting with Wise Planet Company, five corporations—Bigwave Robotics, Global Technologies, Duksan Navcours, and Brils—will conduct IPO subscriptions for retail investors.
According to the financial investment industry on the 13th, Wise Planet Company will take subscriptions from retail investors from Oct. 14 to 15. The IPO price is 12,000 won, and 400,000 shares—25% of the planned 1.6 million shares—are allocated to retail investors. Daishin Securities is the underwriter.
Wise Planet Company, a brand marketing and media commerce specialist, operates the filter showerhead "Dr. PL," the topper mattress "Nujam," and the cosmetic brand "Airenol." Last year, on a consolidation basis, revenue totaled 64.8 billion won and operating profit was 6.3 billion won.
Bigwave Robotics plans to take subscriptions from retail investors on Oct. 15–16. It will offer a total of 1.6 million shares, with an indicative price band of 15,000–18,000 won. The offering size is 24.0–28.8 billion won, and the expected market capitalization after listing is about 158.2 billion won.
The offering process has not been smooth. When Bigwave Robotics filed its initial registration in May, it presented a price band of 22,000–27,000 won. After seven amendments, it lowered the price twice. Compared with the top of the initial band, its valuation has effectively been cut in half.
Founded in 2020, Bigwave Robotics offers the robot platform "Marosol," which supports the entire process from introduction and installation to control and after-sales service. Last year, on a consolidation basis, it posted revenue of 20.7 billion won and operating profit of 700 million won, turning a profit in just over five years.
Defense and aerospace corporation Duksan Navcours will finish institutional book-building on the 14th and take subscriptions on Oct. 16–17. The price band is 12,400–14,600 won, and all 3 million offering shares are new shares. The offering size is 37.2–43.8 billion won.
Global Technologies, a semiconductor fabless corporation, will also take subscriptions on Oct. 16–17. It designs system semiconductors centered on LED driver ICs (LDIs). It will offer a total of 4 million shares, with an indicative price of 13,000–15,000 won. The offering size is 52.0–60.0 billion won, and the implied market capitalization based on the band is 254.6–293.7 billion won.
Brils, a robot modularization platform corporation, will complete institutional investor book-building by the 15th and wrap up this week's schedule with subscriptions on Oct. 17–18. The desired band is 16,500–19,500 won, and it will offer a total of 1.2 million shares. IBK Securities is the lead underwriter.
