Korea Credit Information Services said on the 10th that, following approval at a general meeting, it appointed Yoo Su-young, 58, former Ministry of Finance and Economy Spokesperson, as its fourth president.
In an inaugural address, Yoo said, "When I think about the major task of expanding inclusive finance and driving a major shift to productive finance, I feel a heavy sense of responsibility and duty," adding, "we will do our best to help the industry leap forward as a future innovation infrastructure that accelerates the financial industry's artificial intelligence transformation (AX) by linking different data."
Yoo graduated from Jeonra High School and the Department of Law at Sungkyunkwan University. After entering public service by passing the 39th Higher Civil Service Examination, Yoo served as director general for future policy at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Director General for Policy Planning, director general for future strategy, and Spokesperson at the Ministry of Finance and Economy. Yoo's term is three years starting that day.
