The price of bitcoin, which fell into the $77,000 range the day before, is still holding at a similar level. Analysts said unresolved factors hurting investor sentiment, including a rise in global oil prices as the risk of military clashes between the United States and Iran persists, are to blame.
At 8:35 a.m. on the 3rd, bitcoin was trading at $77,107, down 0.43% from 24 hours earlier, according to global digital asset market tracker CoinMarketCap.
In the same period, XRP (Ripple) fell 0.31% to $1.34, and Solana fell 0.14% to $99.84. BNB is up 0.61% to $686.74 in transaction.
Analysts said the surge in global oil prices caused by U.S.-Iran military clashes has led to weaker investor sentiment. On the 2nd (local time), according to foreign media, the United States carried out a large-scale airstrike on more than 100 targets, including Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) air defenses, radar bases, maritime assets and facilities, mine-laying capabilities, and communications bases.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures accordingly settled at $91.01 a barrel, up about 1%. Brent futures also rose about 1% to $95.63 a barrel.
