Korea Securities Finance Dream Sharing Foundation opened the first group exhibition of emerging artists selected through the arts talent support program "Hope Dream NEXT."
According to Korea Securities Finance on the 3rd, Kim Jeong-gak, chair of the Korea Securities Finance Dream Sharing Foundation, attended the opening event for "SKETCH 2026: The aesthetics of flow" held at Songwon Art Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul, the previous day and viewed works by the participating artists.
The exhibition was organized to provide emerging artists selected through the "Hope Dream NEXT: SKETCH" open call with an opportunity to present their works and to support continued creative activity. The exhibition runs at Songwon Art Center through the 17th.
"Hope Dream NEXT" is an arts talent support program operated by the Korea Securities Finance Dream Sharing Foundation to identify promising talent in culture and the arts and help them grow. Beginning with its launch in Mar., it has selected gifted musicians in classical and gugak, emerging promising artists, and emerging promising performers, and is providing support tailored to the characteristics of each field.
The Korea Securities Finance Dream Sharing Foundation is a non-profit public corporation established in Nov. 2013 with funding from Korea Securities Finance. It has carried out scholarship and social welfare programs, and through its flagship social contribution brand "Hope Dream," it supports scholarships and self-reliance for North Korean defectors and youth preparing for independence.
The foundation plans to continue expanding its social contribution scope into culture and the arts, along with support for socially and economically vulnerable groups.
Kim said, "We hope this exhibition will be a meaningful opportunity for emerging artists to present their works and capabilities and to open up new possibilities, and we will continue systematic support so that promising talent in culture and the arts can keep growing."
