Online investment finance platform "Kpeul" said on the 2nd it will run a promotion through Sept. 30 to give a "1 percentage point interest rate discount coupon" to new personal unsecured loan customers.
The promotion was planned to provide tangible interest savings to mid- to low-credit borrowers being pushed into high rates. At Kpeul, 97% of personal loan customers fall into the mid- to low-credit category.
According to the press release, based on the outstanding loan balance for the first quarter of 2026, the share of loans issued to mid- to low-credit borrowers in the bottom 50% of credit scores reached 96.7%. The share for low-credit borrowers in the bottom 10% of credit scores was 41.5%, close to half.
After checking the "secret promotion code" through six external partner (creator) channels that collaborate with Kpeul, users can enter the code on the coupon registration page in the Kpeul app to receive a rate discount coupon. The creator channels providing secret codes number six in total, including "Sigoljwi's urban life."
A Kpeul official said, "This promotion returns the savings on expense (brokerage fees) to customers who take out loans directly with Kpeul without going through large loan comparison services," adding, "We will continue to roll out services that let customers enjoy the fun of seeking benefits while gaining practical financial advantages at the same time."
