Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation held a special lecture to support the economic independence of young family caregivers.
Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation said it held a special finance and investment lecture that day to support the stable independence and future planning of young family caregivers. About 100 young family caregivers attended the lecture held on the 29th at Mirae Asset Center One in Euljiro, Seoul.
The lecture was held as part of the "Mirae Asset Youth Seed On Project," which supports young family caregivers in laying the foundation for economic independence and designing a self-directed life.
The first lecture was given by Director Lee Sang-geon of the Mirae Asset Investment and Pension Center. Lee introduced basic financial knowledge and asset management methods that young people need to know in the process of becoming independent. He also discussed standards for asset management and investment directions to respond to a changing financial environment
Neuroscientist Jang Dong-seon gave a lecture on the principles of psychological recovery from the perspective of neuroscience. He also guided ways for young people, in the process of caregiving and becoming independent, to examine their minds and build an attitude for a self-directed life.
Meanwhile, Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation has supported young family caregivers and youth preparing for independence since 2021 in partnership with Beautiful Foundation. It is running various programs, including the "Youth Seed On Project," which provides ETF-based seed money support, as well as financial education and networking.
