NEXTRADE (NXT) said on the 31st it approved membership on the 28th for Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, Seoul Branch and CLSA Securities Korea Ltd.
The two securities firms plan to complete the SOR (Smart Order Routing) system within the year and begin transactions.
With this membership, NEXTRADE (NXT) now has a total of 38 securities firms. Notably, five foreign securities firms have joined NEXTRADE (NXT) in about three months since May.
Kim Hak-su, head of NEXTRADE (NXT), said, "With the memberships of Goldman Sachs Securities and CLSA Securities Korea, participation by global securities firms in NEXTRADE (NXT) is gathering steam," and added, "It will serve as an opportunity to further improve conditions for foreign investors' domestic stock transactions."
Kim added, "While supporting the two companies' preparations to enter the market, we will also back the growing transaction demand of domestic and overseas investors as a representative trading infrastructure for Korean stocks."
