The wire rod and cable manufacturer Manho Rope & Wire(001080) said on the 31st it will carry out a settlement of account dividends worth 4.3 billion won.
Excluding treasury shares (6,483,930 shares), 28,631,030 shares will receive dividends of 150 won per share. The dividend yield based on market price is 3.75%, and the record date for dividends is Sept. 15. Manho Rope & Wire is paying dividends for the first time since the 2022 fiscal year.
Manho Rope & Wire shifted to a Chief Executive Officer Ahn Byeong-du leadership structure in January and has pursued management streamlining and a structural overhaul. As a result, both operating profit and net profit turned to the black for the 2026 fiscal year (July 2025–June 2026).
Earlier, in July, Manho Rope & Wire canceled 6.38 million treasury shares, equal to 15.4% of total shares outstanding. The total size was 28.8 billion won. On the 13th, it also established an institutional basis to implement semiannual dividends through mid- to long-term growth strategies and measures to enhance shareholder value.
A Manho Rope & Wire official said, "This decision is to share with shareholders the results of turning to profit through structural improvement," and added, "We will work to enhance shareholder value through treasury share cancellation, dividends, and laying the groundwork for semiannual dividends."
