Com2uS(078340) shares are extending gains day after day on the back of strong demand for a newly released game.
As of 9:36 a.m. on the 27th, on the KOSDAQ market, Com2uS is trading at 39,200 won, up 5,200 won (15.29%) from the previous session. At one point intraday, it climbed to 41,000 won. Following a 15.20% gain the day before, it is rising for a second straight day.
Com2uS's rally appears to be driven by the early success of "Zeus: God of Arrogance," a mobile and PC massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) it is publishing.
Com2uS launched the official service of Zeus: God of Arrogance on the 26th. Developed by Aiverton, Zeus: God of Arrogance began pre-downloads on the 24th and took the No. 1 spot on the domestic Apple App Store's popular games ranking that day. It then topped the Google Play Store's popularity ranking on the morning of the 26th.
Adopting a universe that reinterprets Greek mythology, the game is built on Unreal Engine 5. It features eight classes, large-scale competitive and progression content, and a convenience system for an artificial intelligence (AI) mode. It operates 30 servers, including 10 server groups named after Greek gods such as Athena, Ares, and Zeus. A prior character name reservation event, held three times, also closed early.
