Digital finance corporations GalaxiaMoneytree(094480) said on the 19th it will open a service that allows payments by registering the "Moneytree Card Basic (basic)" to the mobile easy payment service "Monimo Pay (monimo Pay)" operated by Samsung Card(029780).
The company said that with the introduction of this service, users of Moneytree Card basic (unregistered Samsung Card) can use easy payments at online and offline merchants through Monimo Pay. In particular, it emphasized that it reduced the inconvenience of repeatedly entering card information during online payments, expanding the convenience and usage scope of the Moneytree Card.
As of June this year, the recharge amount of the Moneytree Card is about 24 billion won. The number of members is 420,000. GalaxiaMoneytree plans to expand the convenience of online payments and continue to boost card usage through this Monimo Pay linkage.
Registration of Moneytree Card Basic to Monimo Pay is available in the Moneytree application (Application·app) or the Monimo app. After entering card information in the Monimo app and registering it, select the Moneytree Card on the "Monimo Pay" screen and enter the six-digit payment password to make a payment.
To mark the service launch, GalaxiaMoneytree prepared an event for paying customers through the 30th of next month. For customers who make a Monimo easy payment with Moneytree Card Basic and spend at least 100,000 won per transaction, a drawing will award ▲ one person a 1,000,000-won Lotte Department Store gift certificate and ▲ seven people a 200,000-won certificate. During the same period, customers who spend at least 30,000 won per transaction will receive 3,000 won in Moneytree Points once.
If all event conditions are met, customers can receive both the prize drawing and the point payment benefits. The winner announcement and point payment will take place on Oct. 15.
