In the first half of this year, among credit card company CEOs, Vice Chairman Ted Chung of Hyundai Card received the highest compensation.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 14th, the vice chairman received a total of 3.251 billion won in the first half. The vice chairman holds concurrent posts as CEO of Hyundai Card and CEO of Hyundai Commercial, receiving 1.618 billion won from Hyundai Card and 1.633 billion won from Hyundai Commercial, respectively. Hyundai Card CEO Cho Chang-hyun's compensation was 609 million won.
Cho Joa-jin, former CEO of Lotte Card (now an adviser), who retired this year, received 3.122 billion won including severance pay. Salary was 364 million won, bonus 368 million won, other earned income 988 million won, and retirement income 1.401 billion won.
Samsung Card CEO Kim Yi-tae received a salary of 380 million won, a bonus of 63 million won, and other earned income of 119 million won in the first half of this year.
Next, Shinhan Card President Park Chang-hun received 528 million won. Salary was 235 million won, bonus 122 million won, and stock-based compensation 171 million won.
Meanwhile, the first-half compensation of CEOs at KB Kookmin Card, Woori Card, Hana Card, and BC Card did not exceed 500 million won and was not disclosed individually.
