Naver Pay (Npay) is actively pursuing win-win efforts for small business owners by refunding fees and supporting programs that help businesses grow.
According to the financial sector on the 4th, Naver Pay recently announced a fee support program for small business owners who use the offline integrated payment terminal "Npay Connect."
Merchants classified as micro or small and medium by the National Tax Service can receive a full refund of on-site payment fees for Npay Money and points made via QR, Samsung Pay, and the facial recognition payment service "Facesign" within the Connect terminal through the end of the year. This is the fourth round of fee support this year.
Naver Pay is also running various win-win and support programs to help small business owners who operate both online and offline manage their businesses stably and grow.
Notably, to ease cash-flow burdens for online operators such as Naver Smart Store sellers and Npay order-based merchants, Naver Pay has been offering the Fast Settlement service free of charge since Nov. 2020. The service settles payments the day after shipping begins, about three days after payment, and unlike existing early-settlement services, it is available with no additional fees. About 93% of businesses that received payments through Fast Settlement were micro or small and medium operators.
Support for offline operators is also being strengthened. The offline integrated payment terminal "Npay Connect" aims to serve as infrastructure that goes beyond payments to support small business owners' operations and growth.
Through the Keyword Review feature, which connects naturally right after payment, it helps accumulate reviews, and by advancing functions such as linkage with Naver Place, it is designed to reduce small business owners' marketing and customer management burdens so they can focus more on their core work.
A Naver Pay official said, "We will continue to actively pursue a variety of win-win programs that enable us to grow together with small business owners operating in various environments."
