Everon, an electric vehicle charging infrastructure operator (CPO), has launched a bid to list on the KOSDAQ market.
According to the Korea Exchange (KRX) on the 20th, Everon filed a preliminary listing review application with the KOSDAQ Market Division of the Korea Exchange (KRX) on the 13th. Mirae Asset Securities is the lead underwriter.
Everon, founded in 2012, is a CPO operator that handles the full scope of the charging industry, from the development and manufacturing of EV chargers to installation, operation, and after-sales service.
While it is a CPO operator like Chaevi, which listed on the KOSDAQ market in April as the first CPO, Everon focuses on slow chargers installed in living spaces such as apartment complexes, unlike Chaevi, which is a fast-charging operator.
Everon trails Chaevi in sales scale but is seen as ahead in profitability. Last year it posted 65.2 billion won in revenue and 5.5 billion won in operating profit.
A source in the securities industry said, "Chaevi's successful listing has also increased the chances of Everon's successful listing," adding, "The weak performance of Chaevi's stock is a burden."
