HanWool Materials Science(091440) is surging 17% in early trading on the 13th. Buying appears to be flowing in on news that a subsidiary completed building a semiconductor materials production base.
As of 9:20 a.m. on the 13th, HanWool Materials Science shares were trading on the KOSDAQ market at 2,965 won, up 17.79% (435 won) from the previous session.
HanWool Materials Science said in the morning that its subsidiary JKM received notice of conformity in the Process Safety Management (PSM) review for the semiconductor and display photoresist manufacturing process at the Sejong campus from the Chungnam Region Major Industrial Accident Prevention Center under the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL).
With this PSM conformity notice, JKM has completed all key permits and safety procedures required for commercial production at the Sejong campus, the company said.
The company said HanWool Materials Science's semiconductor materials business is also expected to shift beyond plant construction and facility investment into a commercialization phase in which actual product production, shipments, and revenue generation are possible.
