Gwak Soo-geun, chair of the board at Shinhan Financial Group, visited London and Edinburgh in the United Kingdom for five days starting on the 6th and carried out investor relations (IR) activities for global investors and institutional officials.

To them, he shared major issues in the domestic and global economic environment and the financial industry, and explained Shinhan Financial's mid- to long-term growth strategy and the execution status of enhancing corporate value. He also met with officials from the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) and exchanged views on changes in the global governance environment, investors' expectations, and the role of the board in creating long-term corporate value.
