Datasolution(263800) hit the upper limit (the top of the daily price band) right after the open on the 8th. Buyers piled in on news that it signed a 438.1 billion won contract to supply artificial intelligence (AI) computing resources to Samsung SDS.
As of 9:13 a.m. that day, Datasolution shares were trading on the KOSDAQ market at 5,940 won, up 29.98% (1,370 won) from the previous session.
The previous day, on the 7th, Datasolution said in a filing that it signed a 438.1 billion won supply contract with Samsung SDS. Datasolution will supply GPU servers, hardware for building AI infrastructure, and software services for a project to strengthen the use-based foundation of artificial intelligence (AI) computing resources.
The company said, "This contract is a project overseen by the Ministry of Science and ICT's National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), and it supplies goods to the National IT Industry Promotion Agency through Samsung SDS, a cloud service provider (CSP) partner."
