As volatility in Korea's stock market widens, demand is growing for information that investors can both understand easily and trust.
In response, Hanwha Investment & Securities recently revamped its YouTube channel and began offering digital asset content and live market updates. It is also working to provide investors with a variety of investment information, including serializing an Insta-toon on Instagram.
Hanwha Investment & Securities fully overhauled its official YouTube channel in Jun. and unveiled a differentiated lineup of investment content.
A new piece of content drawing attention is "Digital Money Wars 3.0." Choi Yoon-young, Head of Team of the Digital Asset Research Team at Hanwha Investment & Securities, clearly breaks down major issues and the latest news in the digital asset market, as well as changing regulations, every Wednesday evening through video.
In particular, the content focuses on changes in the global market. It systematically explains so domestic investors can understand digital assets not merely as an investment target but as a core asset driving changes across financial infrastructure and the regulatory landscape.
The live program "Quick Market View," which drew strong response through last year, has returned as the upgraded "Quick Market View Returns."
At 4 p.m. on weekdays, it communicates with viewers through live broadcasts, examining domestic and overseas market conditions and the day's key issues. It also answers viewers' questions in real time.
"Han Sang-hee's U.S. stock money wars" delivers in-depth insights into the global macroeconomy and the U.S. stock market. It also produces separate Q&A videos answering questions in the comments to engage with viewers.
In addition, "The path to saving on taxes: Taxmuro," which shares practical tax-saving strategies, and "Wise retirement pension," which helps with stable retirement planning, are drawing attention by presenting investors with ways to protect their assets.
Reflecting a consumption trend favoring short and concise content, Hanwha Investment & Securities is also uploading short-form videos that compress the core of the original videos into about one minute, improving access to investment information. Recently, it introduced "Instatoon (Instagram cartoon)" and "Jaram's investment story."
Featuring "Jaram," a squirrel character representing office newcomers or MZ investors, as the main character, it explains finance—which can feel somewhat vague and difficult—in everyday language with cute illustrations.
On Hanwha Investment & Securities' Instagram, viewers can also find short-form investment content. Hanwha Investment & Securities uses artificial intelligence (AI) to produce and upload summary videos with voice and subtitles based on company analysis reports published by the research center and materials related to digital assets.
In addition, Hanwha Investment & Securities is consistently uploading card news that explains market issues and important concepts.
An official at Hanwha Investment & Securities said, "In line with the trend of diversifying digital platforms, we are expanding investment content optimized for the characteristics of each channel," and added, "We will continue to provide highly reliable investment information to help investors make decisions in the complex capital market."
