Danal said on the 2nd that it will install a K.ONDA kiosk, a prepaid card dedicated to foreigners, at the "Unni Guide Center" located in Seoul's Gangnam District, a domestic hub for cosmetic medical services, to improve payment convenience.
The Unni Guide Center is a K-cosmetic medical space prepared in Mar. by Healing Paper, operator of the cosmetic medical platform Gangnam Unni with 9.4 million users, for foreign tourists. For foreigners who have difficulty with the Korean cosmetic medical experience, it offers a one-on-one customized end-to-end service from dermatology and plastic surgery reservations to interpretation support and consultations.
Danal built a K.ONDA issuance kiosk inside the Unni Guide Center, which frequently receives foreign visitors. The company plans to provide card issuance and recharge, as well as currency exchange services, through the K.ONDA kiosk. Danal and Healing Paper said they expect this collaboration to enhance the convenience of tourism in Korea for foreign customers and create positive synergy by expanding touchpoints between customers and merchants and activating services.
K.ONDA is a reloadable prepaid card service for foreign tourists. It can be easily recharged through a dedicated app and kiosks. It is a specialized payment method that integrates functions needed by visitors to Korea, including online shopping, delivery app orders, transit card use, and withdrawals from ATMs (Automated Teller Machines).
Danal plans to expand the K.ONDA service by deploying kiosks at major hubs such as areas with heavy foreign tourist foot traffic like Myeong-dong and Hongdae, airports, the World K-POP Center, a space specialized for K-pop experience and training, and the Unni Guide Center announced this time.
