iM Securities said on the 30th that it carried out a reorganization and personnel changes. The aim is to increase asset management efficiency and strengthen its traditional investment banking (IB) business.
First, a strategy management office directly under the CEO will be newly established. Under it, a PI management department has been newly created and assigned, and the stock lending and swap department and the strategic bond department have been placed. The company said the reshuffle is intended to strengthen expertise in the management institutional sector.
The corporate sales and IB organization were also revamped. The existing sales and trading (S&T) division has been renamed the wholesale division and placed the financial products corporate department under it. In addition, to bolster traditional IB sales capabilities, an IB institutional sector will be newly established, with the IB I division and IB II division under it to provide comprehensive financial services.
Meanwhile, iM Securities also carried out executive and department head appointments in line with the reorganization.
