Korea Investment Holdings subsidiary Korea Investment & Securities Co. said on the 12th that it held a street cheering event for the national soccer team with about 4,000 customers and citizens in front of its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, at KIS SQUARE.
This event was the first large-scale street cheering held in Yeouido. It was organized to create an urban cultural festival where citizens could enjoy together while cheering on the national soccer team.
Korea Investment & Securities Co. used KIS SQUARE, the supersized digital signage on the exterior wall of its headquarters, as a hotspot for culture and cheering.
A variety of citizens, including office workers and family visitors, took part in the event to cheer on the national team. Viewing on the giant screen and various on-site events were also held.
Kim Sung-hwan, president of Korea Investment & Securities Co., said, "This event is the first step in creating a new cultural space in Yeouido where citizens gather and communicate while cheering on the national team," adding, "We will develop KIS SQUARE into Yeouido's leading cultural platform that breathes with citizens."
