Korea Securities Finance said on the 9th that it took part in the "youth illegal gambling eradication campaign" led by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
The campaign was prepared to raise awareness of the seriousness of illegal cyber gambling, which is spreading rapidly among teenagers, and to encourage societywide participation in crime prevention. Heads of major institutions in the financial investment industry are continuing to join the campaign under the slogan, "Illegal cyber gambling is a scam you can never beat."
In addition, Korea Securities Finance plans to continue a range of support to foster the next generation through the "Hope Dream" program of the Korea Securities Finance Dream Sharing Foundation, including scholarship programs for teenagers and support for cultural and artistic talent.
Kim Jeong-gak, president of Korea Securities Finance, said, "For the sustainable development of the capital market, it is important for teenagers to break free from the lure of gambling and establish sound economic notions," adding, "We will fulfill our social responsibility so the next generation can grow within a safe and healthy financial ecosystem."
