Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation published the "2026 activity report." The report includes last year's key social contribution results and the financial status.
In particular, it includes the results of the overseas exchange scholarship program, the foundation's flagship initiative, along with future generation support activities and the foundation's financial operations status.
Since selecting the first cohort in 2007, Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation has supported a total of 7,944 university students through its overseas exchange scholarship program. The foundation selects a total of 500 scholarship recipients twice a year.
In addition, the "meet-up project," which has been operated since 2023, expanded participation last year. Through last year, about 540 scholarship recipients have taken part in senior-junior mentoring and expert special lectures, continuing to gain diverse learning and networking opportunities.
The foundation also diversified its beneficiaries in the future generation support area. The "Seed On project," which supports the self-reliance of young people preparing for independence, expanded its scope to include young family caregivers.
Meanwhile, regarding the transparency of foundation operations, the foundation received a perfect score, the highest grade, in the comprehensive evaluation by Korea GuideStar, a public interest corporation evaluation agency. It also won the "Social Contribution Awards," co-hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and Forbes Korea.
Last year, the foundation's total revenue was about 5.836 billion won, and total expenditure was about 5.622 billion won. Of that, about 96% was used for public-interest projects such as scholarship programs and future generation support programs.
