On expectations of talks between the United States and Iran, prices of major virtual asset including Bitcoin are rising.
As of 8:21 a.m. on the 22nd, on CoinMarketCap, a global coin quote relay site, Bitcoin was trading at $77,538, up 0.21% from 24 hours earlier. Ethereum was also up 0.27% at $2,128.
Binance Coin was up 1.39% at $656.58, Ripple (XRP) was up 0.42% at $1.36, and Solana was trading up 1.30% at $87.02.
News that talks are continuing between the United States and Iran appears to have had an impact. Minister Marco Rubio of the U.S. Department of State said on the 21st (local time) regarding talks with Iran, "There are some positive signals." However, Minister Rubio maintained the position that a diplomatic agreement would be impossible if Iran introduces a toll collection system in the Strait of Hormuz.
