Shim Jae-song, a former deputy president who oversaw large corporations and investment banking (IB) sales at KB Kookmin Bank, has joined Yoon & Yang LLC (photo).
On the 19th, according to the financial investment industry and according to legal sources, Yoon & Yang LLC recently hired the former deputy president as a senior advisor.
The former deputy president is an expert who has carried out corporate finance and capital markets work for 31 years in securities and asset management and banking. From 2019 to 2022, the person served as head of ECM at KB Securities, leading initial public offering (IPO) work, and then through 2023 served as head of IB1 at KB Securities, overseeing corporate finance, ECM, and PE businesses.
In 2024, as head of IB2 at KB Securities, the person led the equity capital markets (ECM) division, acquisition finance division, M&A division, and new technology business finance division, and last year moved to KB Kookmin Bank to serve as head of the CIB sales group and deputy president.
Yoon & Yang LLC said the addition of the former deputy president will further strengthen its advisory capabilities in finance-related transaction fields such as ECM, DCM, real estate finance, and structured finance.
