NH-Amundi Asset Management said on the 14th that Chief Executive Kil Jeong-seop took part in a campaign to eradicate illegal gambling among teenagers.
The campaign, led by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, aims to raise awareness of the dangers of illegal gambling among teenagers and to curb its spread.
Kil joined the campaign after being named by Cho Hwi-sung, chief executive of Kyobo AXA Asset Management. Kil named Lee Dong-geun, chief executive of VI Asset Management, as the next participant.
Kil said, "Illegal gambling among teenagers is a serious social problem that undermines the healthy financial values of the next generation," adding, "NH-Amundi Asset Management will fulfill its social responsibility so teenagers can experience a sound investment culture that helps them grow their assets from a long-term perspective."
