NH NongHyup Bank said on the 14th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Financial Security Institute to verify digital asset service technology and strengthen security.
Based on this memorandum of understanding, the two organizations agreed to cooperate in areas such as security inspections related to digital asset services and information sharing to build a safe service environment.
Through this, NongHyup Bank plans to strengthen security across digital asset services and establish a safe service infrastructure.
Kang Tae-young, NongHyup Bank president, said, "In the digital asset era, security is not a choice but a necessity," and added, "We will create digital asset services that customers can trust and use through close cooperation with the Financial Security Institute."
Park Sang-won, head of the Financial Security Institute, said, "We will actively support digital asset services so they can take root in the financial sector through security inspections and more."
