Korea Exchange (KRX) said on the 13th it appointed one standing director and three outside directors. The exchange appointed former Financial Supervisory Service Deputy Vice Governor Han Gu as a standing director and head of the derivatives division.
That afternoon, the exchange held an extraordinary shareholders meeting at its Yeouido headquarters in Seoul and made the decision.

For outside directors (public interest representatives), Shin Yong-sang, senior research fellow at the Korea Institute of Finance, and former Smart Media Rep CEO Seok Won-hyeok were named.
Yonsei University School of Business professor Shin Hyeon-han was newly appointed as an outside director (public interest representative) who will serve on the audit committee. The terms of the newly appointed standing director and outside directors run until May 13, 2029.
