Shares of actor Cha Eun-woo's agency Fantagio hit the upper limit (the top of the daily price band) early on the 13th. Buying appears to have surged on news that it is pushing a third-party allotment paid-in capital increase worth 5 billion won.
As of 9:19 a.m. that day, Fantagio shares on the KOSDAQ market were up 30.00% (525 won) from the previous trading day at 2,275 won. Fantagio shot to the upper limit right after the open.
Earlier, on the 12th, Fantagio disclosed that it would push a third-party allotment paid-in capital increase worth 5 billion won.
The company said it plans to focus the funds secured through this third-party allotment paid-in capital increase on strengthening operating stability and expanding competitiveness in its content and entertainment businesses.
